DAMM SHAME USED TO BE A GREAT PLACE TILL THEY CAME UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT. NOW THE FOOD IS TERRIBLE SERVICE IS WORSE PEOPLE RUDE HANG UP ON YOU WHEN ITS THEIR FAULT. I ORDER FROM THEIR FOR 6-7 YEARS AND TODAY THE DELIVER GUY CALLS ME TO ASK ME IF IM IN A STORE OR IF IM OUTSIDE. THEY SEND YOU YOUR ORDER WITH NO PLATE AND YOU HAVE TO EAT FROM THE CONTAINER. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THEM ! ITS A DAMM SHAME !! JAMES
Lightning fast delivery. Organized order system. Tasty food. Not much better overall fast Chinese anywhere.
The customer service is always swift, great mood, nice employees. I will visit here again when I arrive nearby.
I needed a quick byte and this “cafe” looked decent. Well , it was my mistake. Apparently it’s another Chinese food place which you see a hundreds all over Manhattan. It looks different but the menu is the same with one exception - is severely overpriced. I thought that food would be a better quality for a price (teriyaki chicken that you see on the photo is almost 16$!!!) , but it is not. I felt like products are about to spoil so they overcook them. While I was sitting in the place it was constantly loud and delivery guys are screaming in Chinese. And the very last thing- they didn’t put fork or napkins to my order....cmon guys , it’s the very least you can do. 2 stars out of 5
I ordered from this place because I believed the food to be good. But I work in a busy hospital where you can not always answer your phone when you have to. So the driver called me a few times before I was able to see my phone. When i finally answered he yelled at me as if i was is child and therefore i did not leave a tip. Don't disrespect your customers. Ever... I was about to leave him a big tip for him having to wait on me but he can forget about that. And I also will never order from them again but when I called back to add to my order that lady over the phone also raised her voice when i was trying to add Additional items that were not part of the menu even though I told her I would pay the difference... they need better bedside manners I will not tolerate disrespect from anyone. Learn to communicate ppl
Great Chinese food! A little pricey but worth it.
Great standard fare chinese food
Chicken in black bean sauce had a weird chemical taste. I am worried now that I ate some of it. Pork fried rice was dry and tasteless. Shrimp with black bean sauce was way too soupy but I could tolerate it. Not ordering from this place again.
Flavorless. Also canceled our GrubHub order and asked for cash instead. The food and their business practices are fishy.
Good food
Ordered on grub hub and still waiting for my order 1.5 hours later, even if the food is good, I am extremely disappointed with the delivery time
Average Chinese food.
If you want mediocre Chinese food, you got it. It's not the best, and not the worst. It's a quick lunch grab where you don't feel like walking around for a better place. The food is bland and doesn't have a savory taste that much Chinese dishes require. It is ... Blah at best. Chow fun - nothing special; wonton soup - two dumplings, average clear soup with scallions; fried noodle toppings for soup - stale.
No flavor at all. Long delivery.
Bit into metal and there was a hair in my food. Don’t do it.
I ordered from this location on Seamless. The food was over a full hour late (not took an hour, but an hour beyond when it said it would be delivered). When i called after it was 30 minutes and again 45 minutes late, they said the food was mere moments away (lies). The food also wasn't very good. I got a spring roll that was fine, and the seseme chicken, that was dry and not a great flavor.
i just called them, their so rude... i didnt understand the woman because of her accent, so i had to ask her to repeat things, but she sounded like all she wanted was to get me the hell off the phone!!! i felt rushed in ordering, and now i bet my order isnt going to be great!!!! nooooo horrible service!!!!
Fabulous salt and pepper shrimp and soft shell crabs.
Very good, we're going back a second time.
DISGUSTING SESAME CHICKEN, AND THE FRIED RICE WAS TERRIBLE AS WELL. DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE!!!!
Not a bad place for low sodium options. They use less salt and condiments than most Chinese restaurants. Try the lunch special if you want to try something without spending too much.
The food is always good. I order from them every time i visit NYC. The fried rice is yellow before you judge it.
I love to order from this Chinese restaurant the food is great. Delivery is quick I will say. No problems here.
Not only is the food mediocre, it is the worst customer service I have experienced in 10 years living in New York. Do not give them your business.
I don't really recommend this restaurant. I would said the food is okey, not too salty or sweet. But if you wanna try the Chinese food, definitely don't go to any of these order take out restaurants. They don't know how to make the traditional Chinese food. They just know making money from New Yorker. Chinese food-->go to China town or flushing queens. They have much better taste and less pricer.
Delicious Chinese food. The price is fairly steep but the quality is worth it.
Ordered through Seamless. They sent the meal fast but it was FULL of hair, so I definitely don't recommend this place. This is not a decent restaurant...
Great Teriyaki Tofu!!!
Thank you for your decent, cheap, and (probably) massive in portion food.Your Fried Rice and Chicken Wings are my savior. You truly are the definitions of happiness.
I pay $13 and change for chicken wings, fries and fried rice. Very bad services the manager (woman ) had attitude. The soda was warm and the fried rice was made with canned vegetables and not flavor on it. The table was dirty. They just want your money when I asked for ice the lady yelled at me"no ice in here".
TRULY VILE AND DISGUSTING, RUDE AND UNACCEPTABLE. Honestly the worst experience I've had with delivery food in new york. The order was incorrect, the dumplings were falling apart and the meat was under cooked. When I called them to tell them that they sent me the wrong thing they were incredibly rude and refused to send me the correct thing. When the delivery man came to the door he insisted that I had to pay in cash even though I already paid on my credit card (i called seamless to verify). WORST OF ALL!! THIS RESTAURANT IS LYING PRETENDING TO BE 'HAKU CHINESE' .... they changed their name and made it seem as if it's a new restaurant so they could avoid the bad reviews that they already had all over the internet... hate to break it to them but that's not how you avoid bad reviews. The main take away here is: THERE ARE PLENTY OF DECENT CHINESE FOOD RESTAURANTS IN NYC THIS ISN'T ONE OF THEM, JUST KEEP SCROLLING AND GET YOUR FOOD ELSEWHERE.
At first i was a little skeptical about their yellow colored "fried rice" since it didn't look fried at all. But when I tried it, i fell in love. It still has all of the added ingredients in it but without the greasy fatty flavor you usually get from other Chinese food places. Everything else is great quality too, and their chicken seems to be all white meat. Cold peanut noodle appetizer is SO GOOD - big portion and cheap. Great value for the price, friendly service, and a clean looking establishment. I'm so glad that this place is right across the street!
The rice was hard... the onions were raw chopped and the chicken was disgusting......
